This hand-forged katana features a folded patterned-steel blade shaped and finished through traditional processes. The blade is clay-tempered to create a visible wave hamon, formed with a defined shinogi and yokote, and refined through a multi-stage hand-polishing process for a clean silver-toned finish.

The black-wrapped handle is paired with an ornate round guard and gilded solid-copper fittings. Its matching solid-wood scabbard is finished in black lacquer with hand-applied gold-leaf accents and carefully fitted horn details, creating a distinctive black-and-gold presentation.
